Narrative Arc-TV SHOW

Task 1- American Horror Story season one-Murder House 

For this task I created a detailed Narrative Arc to show the progression of American Horror Story season one. Shown through  Violet Harmon's story line. I did this by representing the tension the audience would feel as the season progresses, as well as the positive/negative experiences Violet Harmon goes through. 

Task 2

For this task I created two hand written narrative arcs of (Call Me By Your Name and The Apartment). I also create a info-graphic narrative arc of Call Me By Your Name too. These Narrative Arc's all represent the progression of the plot from the protagonist's perspective. Each Narrative Arc is broken down into three acts to represent how every plot has a simple foundation structure they follow.

Call Me By Your Name

This is a hand written version of my previous Call Me By Your Name narrative arc. However, this narrative arc depicts the plot using climatic points and set ups. This allows me to have a clear understanding of how the narrative of the film flows and which moments have  the most impact on the audience.

The Apartment

This is a narrative arc of the 1960's film The Apartment. This narrative arc breaks down the plot to visually show how the structure of the narrative flows and how it can be divided into three acts. This represents the build in tension and climax and the plot goes on. The Apartment uses many subtle confrontations throughout the plot that lead the audience to the big climax in act three.
